Combat:

 

  Spiders and mummies:

     Use pressure plates, broken vases, and broken treasure boxes to your advantage. If you step on them, they wont make you lose a life. (spike traps work well too, if they don't get you first.)

 

  The door method:

    Don't stay in a room for 5 seconds if it looks potentially dangerous. Go through the next nearest door, go back, and repeat until desired destination.

 

  The Brady Bunch:

    Whole bunch of scarabs in one place? Hit that square once. They will all die.

 

  Excuse me?:

    When something dies, don't wait. Walk over it.

 

  Scorpion:

    Get to the side or back of it, then kill it. It's not gonna get you back. If it goes in front or into back of you, whack it.

 

Construction

 

  Use the force, Luke. \( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)/ ((•    :

    Net traps force the player to move toward it. Enough said.

    Put useless box in the middle of da starting room. Playtest.

 

  Treasures are good to lure:

    But boxes in the front room gives a nice outcome.

 

  Monster mash:

    Put (in your opinion) the most annoying characters and traps in...everywhere.

 

  Big bedrooms:

    Get big rooms. Big rooms=space=more defenses.

 

  Mods:

    Are useful. Use the right type. Example: Sleepy link + fire.

 

  Trapdoors:

    Don't link it.

 

  Spikes:

    Fire mod? Ice mod? Poison mod? YES!

 

 

Store:

 

  Store:

    Buy what you like/hate.

Not so Hidden, eh?

Hidden Trapdoors may be hidden, and are always annoying, but if you're not being chased by a monster, than they can be sorta easy to spot. Trapdoors on blue tiles will have a greenish tint, while trapdoors on green tiles will look greener. And all will quiver occaisonally, revealing their trapdoor-ness.

 

Hurry!

So Stone Warriors are awesome. Annoying, but awesome. Well, they also take a long time to get moving. So if there's one nearby, you could attack-and perhaps defeat-it before it attacks you. It may not always work, though, so be careful.

Glyphs and Links:

With Stone Warriors, those precious five seconds are everything. But what if you could activate a whole room of them at once, in no time? Put an Eye Glyph just in front or besides an entrance, Swift Link it to one Warrior, and link another warrior to that warrior, and so on. You can butterfly link it to just about everything, including Net Traps! Yeah, having a room full of Warriors and Net Traps with that strategy is deadly.
